I'm Armağan Ünlü, a product designer based in Istanbul, born in İzmir in 1989. I've been working with interfaces since 2007, moving from graphic design to front-end development and, eventually, to the part I love most: product design. I'm the kind of person who cares about the decisions behind the pixels, about how a product actually feels.

I started out with freelance graphic and interface work. At Inveon I led creative production as Creative Production Manager, and at Broadage Sports I designed sports-tech products as a Senior UI/UX Designer. Since 2018 I've been at Volosoft, first as Senior Product Designer and today as Lead Designer, leading the product and design team.

At the core of my work it's always the same thing: making the complex simple, useful, and enjoyable. Alongside my full-time role at Volosoft, I'm driven by a passion for building my own products.

One of them is August Audio, my personal venture where I bring together my love for music and software. I build performance instruments for iOS that feel like real hardware. My first product, Cue8, is a groove box that turns the iPhone into a live performance instrument on stage. For me music is more than a hobby, it's how I bring my designer's eye, my coding background, and my passion for the stage together in a single product.
